The documentary “Murder Not Accident” focuses on the struggle of Workers’ Families Seeking Justice(WFSJ) whose family members died
due to preventable causes while working. Documentary uses the archive footage to freshen the memories and shows the stage of struggle of families in 2019 who want this murders to be remembered all the time. In the center of the documentary lays the truth, that none of these people would be dead if occupational health and safety measures were taken in working places. And so, the death of these workers is called “Murder, Not Accident!”

Kaza Değil Cinayet belgeseli, iş cinayetlerine Adalet Arayan İşçi Aileleri’nin verdikleri mücadelelerden kesitler sunarak konuya odaklanıyor. İş cinayetleri gerçeğinin hiç unutulmamasını, hep hatırlanmasını isteyen ailelerin mücadelesinin özellikle 2019 yılında geldiği aşamanın gözler önüne serildiği belgeselde, arşiv görüntülerinden de yararlanarak bellekler tazeleniyor. Belgeselin merkezinde işçilerin göz göre göre öldüğü, gerekli işçi sağlığı ve iş güvenliği tedbirleri alınsaydı, hiçbirinin ölmeyeceğini bir gerçeklik olarak ortaya koyuyor. Bu nedenle işçilerin ölümü “Kaza değil, cinayet!” olarak nitelendiriliyor.
